Wanted to leave a little review for this place! I’m so sad I’ve only just found it! (By word of mouth from a lady at another soft play) I took my 3 and under 2 year old here today! My gosh they had the best little time, much more than a softplay, lots of little play shops to interact in with other children. Staff were super polite and really helpful. Small selection of food which was of good quality (usual in these settings I find it’s normally quite poor quality kids food) ….freshly baked sausage rolls, vegetable sides available and the dreaded chicken nugget which every kids seems to love…were quality chicken breast pieces ! Thoroughly recommended! Thankyou!
Met some lovely mums there too.
Absolutely lovely place, clean, the service is great, so many activities for the children, one of the best soft play so far
Great place. My granddaughter loves it.
Visited Play train for the first time yesterday and wow! This softplay is our most favourite from all of the ones we've been to. My girls loved it so much, so creative, so well taken care of, so much fun! The staff were so friendly too. Will be coming here regularly now 😊
Brilliant soft play
My daughter loves it everytime we bring her here and she absolutely loves the bubbles with the baby shark at the end if the session.
There is a separate section for babies and young toddlers and another section for older toddlers and kids.
There are pretend shops where they can pretend role play, with ride on rides like the bus. There's a ball pot to keep babies and toddlers entertained.
The food is lovely as always. We had ordered some chips, tea and a milkshake! Delicious, loved the chilli dip!
Just wanted to thank all the staff for helping with my daughter's party on Sunday. They were so willing to help and were great with the kids. The food was fantastic and everyone had a brilliant time - thank you!
We had a wonderful party today (2nd October at 11.30, under Irma Doyle).
Just wanted to say a huuuugggeeee thank you to our party host (we met and spoke many times, you did our party last year too yet we never noted your name, sorry 😬).
We all had a wonderful time kids and adults alike, thank you so much for looking after us with such care and cheer, you made it look and feel easy ❤️ Little touches like making my favourite drink as I wait for the kids to descend, your presence was felt throughout offering a helping hand and a smile!
You, and of course the team behind PlayTrain, is the reason we come back time after time! As we planned our next visit without this one even being over, we will see you soon!!!
Thank you ☺️from the happy kids, moms and dads.
I have 5 grandchildren and been visiting soft play areas for the last 13 years. Playtrain is easily the best that I have visited. It is so much more than soft play it opens up so many possibilities for children's imagination in the pretend fire police station, fire station, post office, hair dressers, construction site and so much more. It is very well organised and run. Thank you Playtrain for a brilliant 90 minutes.
Today was my family’s first visit to Playtrain. I’d like to convey my thanks for an excellent experience. From the warm welcome on arrival to the ‘Baby Shark’ exit, start to finish the whole session was very impressive. The staff were warm, friendly and professional, and worked continuously to ensure the play area was kept tidy and clean. The facilities were well maintained and the refreshments both delicious and fairly priced. The children absolutely loved it and we will be returning soon. Easily one of the best indoor play centres we have visited - well done!
We had been in Playtrain a matter of minutes when I knew I wouldn’t be taking my 2 year old son to any other soft play. Playtrain is fantastic - it has absolutely everything under one unassuming roof! It is the perfect mix of family friendly, educational & fun. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. We have been to SO many different soft plays both here and abroad and just so impressed by Playtrain. It has a lovely charm to it, not an overwhelmingly echoey, overly flashy experience - wonderful cappuccino too! Highly, recommend - Playtrain will be our regular haunt until our son is too big to come! 5 stars for cleanliness too!
Very well run by people who care!! Not like the usual staff that work in Soft Plays. The whole place was clean and organised with great food.
This place is my favourite out of all the soft plays we have visited.
My son is nearly 3 now & we all love it here. It is very charming & the attention to detail is what impresses me. It feels like an extension of a nursery school with a lot of loving hand touches throughout. I love the helicopter ceiling fan, the hanging umbrellas & caterpillars. The walls - they have a tube you can put plastic balls in & it sucks it up & travels up & down the wall, and cymbals that we enjoy throwing balls at. Other places I have been too you are lucky to get a seat. Just a great place, not flashy or warehousey, the home cooking of adventure play.
Son really enjoyed himself. He goes often with his daycare but this was the first time with him. Very clean, lots on fans to keep air moving (quite warm), very secure and lots of areas and things to play with. I'm a big guy (6'4" and 18 st) and was easily able to follow him around.
We loved our first visit this week and have booked to come again in a few weeks 😊 Our new favourite soft play!
I just wanted to pass on some feedback. I came today, with my 3 year old, for the first time. From the welcome, to the coffee and muffin, to the range of play areas for the children - I was just amazed - what a lovely place you have there. And, cleaner then I have ever seen a soft play before. Just brilliant!!! Thank you! We will definitely be back!
What an incredible soft play centre. We go regularly and we can’t recommend Playtrain highly enough.
The equipment is clean, tidy and really exciting for my two sons- 18 months and 4 years old. They are so engaged and excited by everything there.
The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The food and drink are affordable and of good quality, and you’re able to sit and see your children play happily from the seating area.
There’s a reason we are there most weekends- it’s the best soft play we’ve been to. Thank you, Playtrain, for looking after us tired parents
We regularly come with our 1 year old and 3 year old. The booking system with limited numbers makes it more enjoyable for those that attend. Some times there are issues where parents let their older children play in the Under 3s areas but the staff are happy to tell them to move out (but really the parents should be!). The food isn't bad, a bit pricey for what you get but always happy to help out a local business. Definitely recommend for those with under 5s.
My 3 year old loves this place! It's the best soft play for adults to fallow their little ones as it is possible to stand up while running after them.
An absolutely amazing place for small children (and adults alike!) Took my nephew here and we had such a great time. There is a huge variety of different toys and play areas including a village street with shops and dress up as well as soft play. Cannot recommend it enough.
Absolutely love the area for my 14 months old. They have such variety of toys, sensory activities corner and play areas. I have always found the cafe and play area very clean and seen staff sanitising the area multiple times during a session. The cafe is good too, their loaded fries are really nice.
Great place to come. Read through some of the reviews and saw some of the negative ones (mostly griping about a perfectly reasonable and clearly signposted policy regarding cancellations) and felt compelled to post this review. Lots to do here for our 1 - 2 year old, he loves it and his eyes light up whenever we mention booking, as well as really enjoying looking through old pictures of the fun he has had here. The menu is great and very reasonably priced too. For those of you keen to bring a young child to soft play and are wanting to supervise/engage with your child in role play etc I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Well done and thank you! I look forward to visiting again.
Love this soft play centre… the detail in each corner of the room really does make a difference. So much for the kids to do and keep themselves entertained with. The size of this place is great because it means you can sit, enjoy a cuppa and not have to worry that your child is out of sight. Staff are lovely too.
What a gem this pace is! We have done many parties in play centres. But this one trumps them all. They have super efficient staff. Their party room is awesome. One long table with a throne for the birthday person. Music and lights. Their snack section just stands apart from most play centres I have been to. It was also clean and their toilets are so well kitted out for kids and babies. The best this thing about playtrain is the variety of things to do. There is role paly, soft play, video games (on the floor) a Library... Something for every type of interest. Highly recommend you try it out. Loved having our 4 year old's party here!

It feels like an extension of a nursery school with a lot of loving hand touches throughout, very imaginative. I love the ceiling - fan that is a helicopter, the hanging umbrellas & caterpillars. They also have a book corner with 2nd hand books for sale. I thought it was just great that when you enter nice staff welcomes you & takes you to an allocated seat & table, other places I have been to you are lucky to get a seat. Just a great place, not flashy or warehousey.
My two toddler loved it. They serve decent coffee. We will definitely be coming back.
Very clean! Milkshakes are massive for your money. Puppets & baby shark at the the end is a great addition

We have been to SO many different soft play facilities and just so impressed by Playtrain. It has a lovely charm to it and not an overwhelmingly echoey, overly flashy experience - wonderful cappuccino too! Highly, highly recommend - and although we live over half an hour away, with many other local facilities closer to us, Playtrain will be our regular haunt until our son is too big to come! 5 stars for cleanliness too.
First time since Covid and reopening. The place was really clean and staff were friendly as usual. My son was happy to be back after a long time and really enjoyed himself. Some of the toys were not on display but could be requested and then returned at the end.
We LOVE this place. Such value for money and the added role play areas are brilliant so it’s not just soft play. It is small enough to feel safe and I think they’ve done well opening post covid as it feels very clean and there are never too many people. We are regulars and will carry on being so. I don’t know what the last review is talking about as the staff have always been very nice to us.
This is our son's favorite soft play. Lots of activities, great variety of games and areas and we love having breakfast there.
